Marvel’s next superhero is very different from his counterparts and marvel knows this. This is evident in the marketing strategy for ‘Ant-man’. Lets take a look at it.
Marvel has brought back a character From MCU’s first outing ‘Iron man’ (2008). The Vanity fair Journalist who banged Iron man apparently has her own show now, as she appears in several viral news clips posted on youtube. The viral news clips show the coverage of post-‘Avengers age of ultron’ situation, which then leads the news of scott lang being released from prison. A second clip shows CCTV camera footage of the alleged theft comitted by Lang, also depicted in prequel comic to ‘Ant-man’.
A clip shows WIRED insider’s interview with Darren Cross CEO of Pym technology, in which he talks about pym tech’s abandoned projects and R & D, Hank pym’s rumoured ties to S.H.I.E.L.D., gets pissed off when asked why there is no new product is being launched since he became CEO and then assures a big venture launch this summer which will and I quate ‘ashtonishing’…huh..I wonder what that might be..?
In another WHIH viral news clip scott lang loses his temper in the middle of the interview with everhart accusing wHiH of being partial as it is owned by vista corp, the campany. the scrrolling bar at bottom reveals what is going on between the movies. some of them are
• ‘Stark industries announces new scholarships for promising students from urban city schools.’ Hinting towards return of Marvel’s crown jewel ‘Spiderman’ and his inclusion in MCU.
•The impending civil war between Iron man and Captain america is also hinted as leaders worldwide demand Avengers to be held accountable for destruction caused by Ultron.
•Ultron’s tech components sold on black market.
• Tony stark’s comments on Dr. Banner’s ‘Hulkout’ in sokovia.
Though viral marketing tactic is as old as it gets, Marvel spins a new take on it by adding a old supporting character and behind-the-movies tidbits.
A unique superhero requires similarly unique posters to show-off his powers. Thus here are some creative ‘Ant-man’ posters both official and fan-made.
