Watching ‘The Sixth sense’ again with a crowd of first timers

  

   ‘The sixth Sense’ is a film with a great rewatchability. Its written and directed in such a structure that everytime you watch, you notice something you’d  missed till then. There is also a ton to learn from watching the movie for aspiring film-makers. If you haven’t seen ‘The Sixth Sense’ you should stop reading, go watch the movie and come back again.
  I recently got a chance to watch ‘The Sixth Sense’ again at a screening in my college. The auditorium was packed with students, many of whom must be  watching the movie for first time.
Once again I got to know how powerful this movie is. The Acting is top-notch. Bruce willis as troubled child psychologist Dr. Malcom Crowe and Haley Joel Osment as Cole sear hold a tight grip over the audience throughout the movie which is actually quite slow-paced. he scene with Cole and his mother 
   One of the new things I noticed this time – in the scene we see Cole and Dr. Crowe together for first time and also the scene where we see them for last tine together, Cole asks to Dr. Malcom Crowe, “will I see you again?”, “instead of something like “will we meet again?”
hinting at Dr. Crowe’s fate.
  Though the film was screened as a part of ‘Horror’ themed event along with Alfred Hitchcock’s ‘Psycho’, I see it as a family drama Revolving around a relayionship between a single mother and her son and a husband and a wife which happens to have ghosts in it.
   Along with the movie I also enjoyed the reactions of the First-time audience. It was like those live reaction videos on youtube. They screamed, they laughed and got shocked by the twist.  It was all really interesting to witness.
   The next film is ‘Psycho’. We’ll see what happens there.
